What To Expect

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market
The floating market (Damnoen Saduak floating market), which is about 100 km from Bangkok. In 1902 King Rama V built artificial canals which allowed the Tamgi river to be joined with the Chao Phraya river to facilitate trade between the towns in the area. Once you arrive you will make the tour of the canals with the characteristic boats (paddle boat) lasting about half an hour which will allow you to see the lifestyle of the inhabitants up close. You can get off and make stops to buy goods or simply enjoy the color show that the market offers.

When the train arrives, the sellers portray the curtains of the stalls and then put them back in place.
