What To Expect

Khaosan Road
This tour takes you from the “tourist ghetto” of Khao San Road, past some of Bangkok’s best- and least-known monuments and attractions, ending with a sunset cocktail across from one of the most beautiful temples in Thailand. As you walk, expert commentary by a long-time resident gives you the inside scoop on where you are and what you’re looking at, as well as history, trivia, and healthy doses of humor and rumor for good measure. The total trip distance is about 4km with ample photo opportunities, plenty of places to sample Bangkok’s legendary street food, and lots of 7-11s to duck into for a quick air-con break.

Giant Swing
You'll hear the fascinating stories of ceremonies and even parts of history where people have lost their lives swinging on this monument originally built in 1784.

• Admission Ticket Free

Wat Suthat
Explore this temple which is often a much richer tourist experience than the Grand Palace as it is much less crowded and 25x cheaper to enter.

• Admission Ticket Free

Wat Ratchabophit
I'll guide you to this beautiful but lesser known temple that has a different aesthetic than all the other temples in Bangkok.

• Admission Ticket Free

Saranrom Park
In fact, it has one of the lowest per capita green space ratios of any city in the world, but the parks it does have are quite nice. We'll travel through this park to the conclusion of our tour.

• Admission Ticket Free

The Grand Palace
You'll have the opportunity to visit the Grand Palace near the conclusion of our tour, where I'll direct you to some of the best options for rooftop views in the city.
