One of Ayutthaya’s most important temples. It enshrined Buddha relics. The main tourist spot should be this buddha's head in tree root

The temple is just located right next to the Wat Mahatat temple where you can easily walk here. The temple was built in 1424 by King Boromrachathirat II. The purpose was to place the bodies for the cremation of his brother.

Wat Phra Sri Sanphet
The significance of this temple is the stunning 3 Chedi right next to each other. This temple had no monk in the past and it was built for of the palace. It used to be the place where the king stay around 550 years old.
