What To Expect

Bangkok By Bike

Get away from the tourist crowds and immerse yourself in the everyday life of Bangkok on a half-day bike tour of different kind of neighborhoods. Cycling at a nice, slow pace, you will cover a distance of approximately 15 kilometers, taking several breaks for refreshments and a lunch of the famous Thai cuisine.

The tour will show the contrasts of different Thai communities, heading north from the city center along the banks of the river. Bike down narrow alleys to see ordinary Thai homes. We cycle past several schools and continuing northwest, we stop at a couple of special temples never mentioned in the guide books.

We pedal through some green areas a world away from the hustle and bustle of central Bangkok.

Fantastic. This is the best way to experience a part of the authentic Bangkok lifestyle, away from the tourist traps and would recommend this as a must do if you are visiting Bangkok.
We were in a party of 11 with children aged between 8 and 17.
Our guide Khan was a lovely and welcoming person, and we all had a superb experience. The children and adults alikein the party have spoken more about the bike tour than anything else we have done In Bangkok. Many thanks!

The ride was awesome! I met a nice group of people from Australia, England, Switzerland and the United States. We had a great time together as a group. It was great to meet people from all over the world as we toured through Bangkok. The tour of back roads throughout Bangkok seeing all of the culture and people behind the scenes of the big city of Bangkok was an eye opening experience. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a very good education about the culture of Thailand. The bike path we traveled was a nice challenge of twist and turns through back alleyways and tight walk paths. I recommend this ride for anyone who is interested in learning about Bangkok.

Bangkok by bike. Highlight of my trip for sure. Off the beaten path down a series of pathways in a literal jungle in the city. Amazing tour guide. Temples, Floating market and a restaurant on a canal. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for the path less followed and off the beaten track, then this is the bicycle ride for you! My guide, Arne, who was also the owner provided me with a personalized tour, and l wasn't disappointed. A visit to the local market and Temple were perfect resting points from riding. Arne also had a better raincoat for me to use, and it was a lifesaver for the last 15 mins of the journey. The rainy season doesn't end until the second week of October. He also took the time to show me how to get home via the MRT/BRT cheaper than using a taxi. Make sure you know how to not only ride a bike, but also manage the gears, as it will come in handy for the tight corners, alleyways and riding on the road, sidewalks and uneven paths.

I arrived 30’ late, the group had left… the manager had shown a huge flexibility and we biked together to join the group. The rest was just perfect. We get the chance to see some of the hidden jewels of the city in a very small group. A great memory. I highly recommend the tour.

This trip was so much fun and such a great insight into life in the back streets of Bangkok. We saw such a wonderful cross-section of the city, had some great exercise and met lots of lovely people. Would definitely recommend this to anyone with a sense of adventure.

Great half day tour. They really want to show you what you’re interested in, so there’s a good route/itinerary they start with, but if you want to spend more time someplace or see something deeper or ask extra questions, they’ll totally accommodate. Our group size was modest and friendly so you have a nice time with others on the tour.
