Enjoyed this four hour cooking class with Instructor Ms. Thoom making four of our favorite Thai dishes, tom yum soup, pad thai, green curry, and mango sticky rice.
Highly recommended!!

A fantastic morning with Toom and her team. We visited the market first to buy some ingredients and see how the locals shop. Then cooked 4 extremely delicious meals. Have done something similar before but this was the best yet. Toom was very welcoming and she explained all the ingredients and how to cook very clearly.

Both me and my friend enjoyed the class the instructor is very friendly, the market tour was excellent. The dishes were so nice and most of all we ate what we cooked haha with all freshness of the ingredients we had from the market!

Dishes we cooked: Tom Yum Kuang, Prawn Pad Thai, Penang Curry, Mango sticky rice

Chef were friendly and environment is nice too! A experience you will feel different here!

What a great class! Cooking itself was outstnding -- but the market walk, learning about various ingredients, fruits to snack on (longan and dragon), and stories about why/what Thai people cook -- that was the best. The chef teacher was great, very informative and funny. We cooked three dishes + desert, all turned out delicious. I'm looking forward to shopping at an Asian market back home and cooking some of these dishes for our friends. Highly recommend!
Memorable experience

Toom was a fantastic host and teacher! The visit to the market to buy the ingredients really added to the excitement, Toom made it very interactive and provided us with great information about the ingredients used, and the final result, a delicious 4 dishes, this was definitely a great experience, we fell in love with Thai food.
Fun experience

Good and fun experience, instructor made Thai cooking seems so easy. Taste came up surprisingly good too. I was unable to eat up all my 4 dishes of tom yam, curry, pathai and mango dessert) despite not eating my breakfast, instructor offered to help pack for takeaway which is really ! :)
Just okay

The location was easy to find with directions given and the market we visited was on the same street. Attention was paid to cleanliness, and the team was efficient with having things prepared for each course. The tom yum soup we made was outstanding.
What could have been better: an introduction at the beginning by the guide with an overview of what we would be doing and cooking. There was little preamble, no greeting, and no explanation of foods we saw in the market beyond “we’re going to buy this here.” When asked, the guide told us her name and responded to a question about what we were preparing when we returned to the kitchen. Much of the food for each course was already cut and prepared, so there was only about 20% of prep we had to do. This saved time, but was less hands on than I had expected. Also, many of the things used (the straw basket to cook rice, the machine to shred the coconut we used to make coconut milk, and the deep mortar and pestle used to grind spices for the curry) would not be available for most people. Instructions about where to find them or alternative methods would have been helpful; otherwise it would be good to prepare things people could replicate easily at home.
We’ve been lucky to have attended cooking classes in several countries and I am an enthusiastic cook with access to most of the ingredients, but if I weren’t familiar with many of them already, today would not have been helpful in understanding how they work together or how to best use and find them.
Overall everyone in my party agreed the morning had been fun, but had had higher expectations based on our experiences in other places. I think there is better value to be found elsewhere.
