This is the best cooking course I’ve done! The food was amazing and I can’t wait to try the recipes at home. The staff are kind, helpful and very friendly. Great value as well!

A fantastic experience! You may be a bit concerned when you first walk down the alley to find the school, but the whole experience is first rate. There is an air conditioned room to gather and later to eat. A fun tuk-tuk ride to the fascinating market to buy provisions, then back to the school. Mei is a great instructor. Everything is pre-measured for you to learn how to squeeze coconut cream and milk from fresh coconut. Every step is demonstrated before you do it. You end up with a bountiful and delicious lunch of classic Thai dishes. Mei was so sweet she even walked us to the place where we needed to pick up a Grab ride back to our hotel. PS the water is safe for Westerners to drink and it is a cooling delight.

We started off taking the tuktuk to the markets and “buying” produce which helps to familiarize yourself with what the ingredients actually look like. (All covered already and we weren’t expected to pay anything extra
The cooking class itself was amazing! Multiple delicious Thai dishes that I love to eat - pad Thai, green curry, Tom yum and mango Sticky rice! The instructions were easy to follow after a demonstration was done for us.. and all questions were answered as we went along
We then got to enjoy our amazing dishes and I couldn’t believe I had cooked the tastiest Thai dishes I’ve ever had !

We had a great afternoon at Maliwan. Our chef and guide Mai was awesome, very knowledgeable, friendly and a great teacher. The class size is small with a max of 6 so you have a great opportunity to ask lots of questions and get to understand more about Thai food and culture.
We’ve done a number of cooking classes and this one was up there with the best.

The demo and be able to cook the dishes ourselves. The teacher was friendly and professional. It was nice to shop the food in the market

This was so much fun. The cooking class was a blast. I had so much fun. There was a total of 5 in the class. It was very organized. We went to the market first thing, learned a lot there. Instructions were great, food was great. Would 10/10 recommend.

We had a great time at this cooking class! Our instructor was very friendly and took us to the market where she told us about the different fruits, vegetables and spices. Afterwards we started our cooking and learned many things about Thai cooking. I can recommend this 10/10!
