Phet Samut Worawihan Temple, locally known as Wat Ban Laem, was built around the reign of King Prasat Thong of Ayutthaya (around 1764). The temple features the statue of Luang Pho Ban Laem, a Buddha image in the posture of holding an alms bowl. It is believed that if you come to pay homage to the gold leaf of Luang Pho Ban Laem and will help enhance the power of prestige in life.
