Kan was our tour guide, his English is excellent, as is his knowledge of the local attractions and history.
As we walked through Chinatown and the Flower market Kan told us we were welcome to try any food that we were interested in.
We tried many dishes we would otherwise wouldn’t have. We also had the opportunity to see different areas of Bangkok we wouldn’t have seen either.
Highly recommend this tour!
We split into two TukTuks and Jongkie came with us as our personal guide. Without her, we would not have seen anything of what we saw and even eaten where did. After our second meal, (we ate in a tradition cafe style restaurant), Jongkie took us to the back street where we could see the meals being cooked. She explained cooking techniques and spoke freely.
Out third stop was the first genuine street food seller, we all stood on the pavement eating mango and sticky rice amongst the chaos of Bangkok. We walked through China Town, saw all kinds of street stalls serving all kinds of treats, visited a large indoor market where the suppliers were selling their produce and then we visited the flower market.
This is a very interactive tour, included a drink stop at a sky bar and finally another street restaurant stop. Our tuktuk driver safely returned us to the hotel.
All in all, a great tour, Jongkie was a great host, friendly and an individual person. Highly recommend and thank you Jongkie.

Also recommend the bars on NaNa street, area in Chinatown with great nightlife. We celebrated our food tour success with a cocktail at the amazing Wallflower’s rooftop bar.
Terrific local knowledge, and a willingness to help us understand what makes for great Thai food made the tour very enjoyable. We will definitely include the tour in our next visit to Bangkok!
