Overview

Grab an ice cold butterfly tea first! We will start the tour from Chao Praya River, and time travel to the hidden Bangkok that 99% visitors will not know. You will taste 5+ selected street-foods during the route. Yellow curry noodle? The spicier the better! Cake by master Pi is nice and fresh. Seasonal fruits are juicy and sweet. And the lunch/supper in the family house is my favorite - fabulous Tum Yum Soup and thai omelet. Believe me, you can’t find this in any guide book! (Foods may be different everyday)

Travel like a local. We will visit 10+ off the beaten path places. In temple and monk school you will learn about Buddhist tradition. And then you will know why over 90% people in Thai are Buddhism. Super fun and informative tour of Bangkok! Loved everything about it, bike riding was awesome, trying local foods and seeing the life of the less touristy side and more local living style of the real Bangkok was nice to see for a change since so much of Bangkok is now gear more for tourists. Our guide took us to visit places that were so cute and unique which I definitely wouldn’t have been able to discover on my own. I signed up to get a workout for the day but instead got so much more than the workout, it was definitely a pleasant day. Thank you Have A Good Thai Crew!
Experience you should not miss!

We didn't know what we signed up for, but so glad we did! It's a pretty straight forward experience with no time to waste. There is a lot to see, do and eat so get ready for some pretty intense bike riding, tour de Bangkok style... it was our first. time in Bangkok so the sights are not as attainable if we were to go off on our own. The experience of cutting through small alley ways, larger roads, country roads was a hell of an experience.
Exciting bike tour around backstreets of Bangkok

We had so much fun on this tour through "hidden" Bangkok. We enjoyed getting to learn about local food and culture in addition to seeing more of the city. This is a great tour for people comfortable biking in narrow spaces with some technical elements requiring knowledge/experience with bike handling. It was so much fun and we really got to see a completely different aspect of this dynamic city.
Great tour - highly recommended!

We had a fantastic time on this tour. Our guide, Wat, was super friendly and really made the tour fun. The bikes were really nice to ride and it was a great way to spend our first day in Bangkok. Each stop - the food, the temples, the buildings were really great and we couldn’t recommend this tour enough!!
The best part of my time in Bangkok!

I wasn’t stoked about going to Bangkok because I’ve heard dicey things- but I’m SO glad I went and found this tour! It was by far the best part of my time in Bangkok and one of the top 5 things I did in all of Thailand! Only 3 of us were on the trek with our guide (low season), so that made it special. I absolutely LOVED going through tiny alleyways and unknown streets to find hole-in-the-wall storefronts and even people’s homes for snacks and nibbles! We stopped at temples and our guide explained every ritual and tradition - taking our photos and translating for us wherever we went. It was so cool to see how the neighbors in this side of Bangkok love- and our guide knew everyone! It felt very off the beaten path and I guarantee I’d never have found any of these spots on my own! A MUST DO if you’ve got a half day in the city to kill!
Not What I Expected

I expected a scenic tour through the back alleys of Bangkok, on a dirt bike, occasionally stopping off for food or visiting a site. The tour does check those boxes but you really have to concentrate on your navigation, while on the bike. The back alleys are riddled with sharp turns, low fences, narrow alleys and merging pedestrian, motorbike and vehicle traffic. The bicycle part of the tour is more or less reduced to transportation that required 100% concentration. There's virtually no time to look around while on the bike because if you do, you're running into something or someone. It's a rural tour to different locations, by way of bicycle.

Wat was fantastic. He grew up in this area. And, it's his tour. So, he has a connection to the neighborhood which gave it a personal feel. He's very knowledgeable and speaks very good English.

I almost gave this tour 4 stars. I had difficulty navigating on the bike. There was also a Thai/American on the tour. She wanted to practice her Thai with Wat. That's fine, but every time she and he talked Thai, the rest of us were basically excluded from the conversation. But, any good story has trials to overcome. And, in the end I did overcome my difficulties, with the help from the Holy Protection from the Wat Hong Rattanaram Temple water, which I poured over my statue.

While I didn't have time to process my surroundings while traversing the back alleys on the bike, I found that my brain was taking the sights in. Later that evening, after the tour was over, I did find myself remembering some of the sights that flew by.

It's definitely a different tour. Wat's connection to the neighborhood is what truly makes this a 5 star experience.
Fantastic!

Wat was an amazing guide who took us (4 of us) on a tour of Bangkok not accessible to tourists. We ate where the locals eat and saw a side of Bangkok we would never have found for ourselves. The cycling was quite challenging as it was a long day, but highly recommended.
