Well know amazing Maeklong market fresh market which sets along sides of the railroad there are trains passing through about eight times a day and every times a train is coming those vendors will close their awnings to make room for the train to pass. Actually it is just a regular fresh if no train passing. It is an amazing market that must be very exciting while a train is running through.

09.15 AM.Leave the Train market to Damnoen Saduak floating market.

09.30 AM.Arrive at the pier you will then take a long tail boat enjoy beautiful scenery around the canal and this is the best way of getting to main part of the floating market. Finally you will know Damnern Saduak floating market by walk around where you will see numerous vendors selling local foods, fruits and products. Rides in a paddle boat through the market for 30 minutes

11.00 AM. Return to Bangkok **13.00pm,arrival depending on the traffic.

I was really looking forward to the floating market more than the railway but turned out the market was super crowded and was hard for me to get perfect photos, overall the boat experience was great, the railway market was best, i enjoyed more there..

A drive was like one and a half hour away from Bangkok, very nice experience,extremely touristic and crowded, our guide was very informative, i enjoyed most the boat ride , the food seem more priced tho, we did have independent time to walk without a guide following, the other market we visited nice to see train passing through,it was a good day all in all.

This tour was organised by Big country vacation and the tour guide was Sarah.
I have to say that thanks to Sarah that the four of us in our group were impressed with the whole experience.
We cant praise Sarah enough. Her knowledge and ability to get everyone in our group of ten to try the local produce was excellent.

We can thoroughly recommend anyone to try this tour.

Fun trip to the markets

Market tours are as described. It is a 2 hour drive to arrive at the floating market and about another 20 minutes to the railway market. Guides/drivers speak limited English, but are able to give the needed information. There are 2 boat rides at the market. A small boat thru where the venders on boats are selling their products. The second boat ride is a larger motorized boat around the outside of the market. You will be on your own to tour the markets. We are independent travelers, and ok with this tour, but if you want to be guided thru the market by a guide this is not the tour for you.
