This 5-hour cultural late afternoon and early evening tour creatively combine the use of Tuk Tuk, Longt-tail boat and Tourist Express Boat to travel around the city which aslo provides first time visitors a great introduction to the city. With your guide, you will explore the old quarter of Bangkok, the current capital and Thonburi, the previous capital of Thailand. The tour shows you another side of the city. The side that most visitors or repeat visitors miss. The tour is designed to bypass heavily congested traffic in the later afternoon and take off-the-beaten-path routes heading to illuminated temples such as Wat Pho, Golden Mount for panoramic sunset and the largest 24-hours flower market in Thailand. Enjoy dinner and dessert at secret local restaurants. This small group tour is limited to 6 people and run only once a day.

Action packed tour of Bangkok

Spent an action packed afternoon/ evening with Geng, exploring Bangkok. We liked the fact the trip included some attractions that we hadn’t yet been to a bit off the tourist trail. We started on the river, Geng had some great facts and then went round the local market we tried lots of local Thai snacks and the experience was really authentic. We transferred into a long tail boat which was a great experience to get to see a more local Bangkok. The Tuk Tuks took us to the Golden Mount which was an amazing spot (unfortunately it was raining heavily on our visit) nevertheless it was a worthwhile stop off. The dinner at a Well known Pad Thai restaurant was excellent, also some delicious fresh orange juice! Next back on the tuktuks we visited Wat Pho at night, really pretty even though we’d already visited in the day time, hardly any other tourists there at night. Finished the tour with a visit to the flower market and mango sticky rice in China town. Geng had lots of great secret spots, excellent English and is very friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend this tour if you want an adventure, thanks again Geng.

This review is very late but as I sit down to plan our next holiday I can't stop thinking about our last holiday in Bangkok and the amazing afternoon we had with Mr Geng from Explorenique back in January this year. Mr Geng took us to local and iconic Bangkok sights which gave us an insight into street food at local markets (we tried food we would never try if we were there on our own), cruising in a long tail boat visiting local communities (it was fantastic to be able to interact with the local people), riding in a tuk tuk (we stopped for some amazing night photos), visiting Golden Mount for sunset (what a beautiful place at sunset) , dinner at Rooftop bar (it was a little dark at this restaurant where we sat but the food was yummy!), visiting the flower market (great to get the history of this place) and lastly dessert in Chinatown (we were all tired by now!). Mr Geng was very knowledgeable, he kept our teenagers entertained and his history facts about everything were unreal! The customer service from Explorenique was prompt and I loved that Mr Geng asked for feedback at the end of the tour and sent us photos he took whilst we were on the tour together. This tour was a highlight on our holiday to Bangkok. Thanks again Mr Geng for an amazing afternoon.

Amazing Sunset Tour !!

Geng was fabulous and catered our tour to all our request!! So many wonderful things to see and do on this afternoon/evening tour with Geng by ferry, longboat and Tuk Tuk. Introducing us to China town, watching the sunset at the Golden Mount, eating street food, seeing the flower market and learning about the history and culture of Bangkok was amazing! We could not have asked for a better tour to so many different areas in just 6 hours.

I had the most amazing adventure with Geng.
We explored off beat areas that I would never have seen. Experienced wonderful local foods from street markets that I would normally not try and everything was SO tasty.
Visited beautiful, peaceful temples that feel so spiritual.
Geng is extremely engaging, a wealth of information however doesn’t over talk, I actually feel that he is someone I would like to keep in touch with.

This is a fabulous tour and I cannot rate Geng, the most excellent guide, highly enough. The tour is packed full of wonderful sights and tastes - out-of-the-way temples, street food, local restaurants, the Golden Mount at sunset, a walk around the illuminated Temple of the Dawn at night and, of course, transport by long-tail boat and tuk tuk. If you only do one tour in Bangkok, do this one.
