Overview

This Bike & Dine Tour is a unique outdoor experience you will remember for a long time. First, you will be taken on a relaxed, awesome bamboo bicycle adventure, riding on quiet backstreet paths. As the afternoon ends, night birds and insects will already play their symphony of jungle sounds.

At twilight, we return to have a delicious Thai dinner at a romantic outdoor restaurant, beautifully located on the river banks. Enjoy the excellent food while watching the river and the blinking lights of Bangkok across the water.

We can easily spend a few hours here. However, after you have digested your dinner a boat will be waiting for our river cruise. We know a special place where we may witness fascinating fireflies abundantly lighting up the sky. I never get enough of seeing these nightly creatures and like to share this experience with you.

We have fireflies year-round. However, when it is very windy, they might be harder to spot. Nevertheless, your tour will be unforgettable.

Escape from Bangkok

This tour was an peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, our tour guide who’s name I don’t remember was very accommodating and helped us out whenever we needed. Although we didn’t see much fireflies because it wasn’t the right season him and the boat driver tried hard to find some for us to look at. Overall a very fun experience!

We’ve been to Bangkok a few times so we’re looking to do something new. This is such a great to way to spend the early evening. We met the lovely Sugar (our guide) at our meet point - crossed the river to Bangkachoo island and picked up our bikes. We had a great tour through the park, fed the fish, stopped at a temple then back for one of the best meals we have had on our trip. Authentic Thai food on the river looking back at the city. Then a shall trip down the river to see the fire flies. We really loved the whole experience snd the bike ride is very easy. Thank you Sugar for a great time!

Had an excellent evening with Mit, who was a really fun tour guide.
We had a lovely Twighlight cycle in the countryside, followed by an amazing meal beside the river. We then took a boat ride to see the Fireflies, which was amazing.
This really is a very different tour to do in Bangkok & gives you a very different perspective on Bangkok.
Highly recommend.

Excellent Local Tour

Very good look into the Samut Prakan area below Bangkok. Chuga was an excellent guide with good English. The tour was relaxed and we had a lot of time to chat with Chuga about local customs and life in Thailand. We saw hundreds on fireflies on the water, and dozens of flying foxes overhead while on the water. Very much recommend booking this guide if you are in the central Bangkok area.

We were probably extra lucky as it was just the 4 of us but what an amazing escape from the madness of Bangkok. Just a short ferry ride away and you’re in a different world. Shugar, our guide was welcoming, informative and funny. The bikes were good and the ride was great fun and easy for anyone with a basic grasp of cycling. The restaurant was in a superb location and the food yummy. Topped it off with a boat ride seeing the fireflies. Thoroughly recommended.

Very friendly tour guide, quiet and peaceful evening in countryside

Had a really fun evening with our tour guide Mit. He’s a really friendly person who told us a lot about Thai culture, places and his stories. The little island we headed to is quiet and peaceful, worth visiting if you like countryside and wanted to avoid the crowded. Bike track is easy to follow and Mit will take good care of you. Overall it’s a memorable experience, very different from the city center side.

An unforgettable experience

Mit is the BEST tour guide you could ask for. The entire tour was incredibly fun and my wife and I got to see lots of fireflies!! We both hadn't ridden a bike in years, but quickly got the hang of it. Mit did an excellent job of making sure we were safe and didn't fall behind.

The authentic Thai dinner with the tour group was a highlight, with complimentary young coconut drinks and icecream.

Awesome tour and very unique experience

This was a wonderful and memorable trip. Our guide was amazing and had really good insights about nature, Thai Buddhist culture, how things are in Bangkok post Covid and was generally candid about his life and experiences. I learnt a lot more about Thai culture on this tour than I did through any other source. The biking tour was excellent and the dinner with other tour members next to the river was charming. It was a great experience to see the fireflies also. The tour was very organized and easy to find and operators were super helpful!

Tour has potential, but could have been a lot better.

The tour had great potential but started late due to miscommunication on the operator's side, therefore the bike ride and stops were done when it was completely dark already. It would have been much better had we been able to see the scenery and park we were biking in.

The dinner afterwards was lacking in variety and quantity, given the size of the group, especially after seeing the quality and variety of Thai food available in Bangkok (even on the streets).

Seeing the fireflies in the end was nice and gave us a different perspective of Bangkok. Let me just say it does not look like the photo posted for this tour, the photo is quite misleading.

Sugar (the guide) and his assistant were helpful and informative, and created an overall good atmosphere despite the tour being somewhat lacking.
