So to start, i had a great feeling with my tour guide Michiel. He is funny, communicative and has a big knowledge about Bangkok. You will never feel unsecure. The tour promise you "nontourist" Places. And you learn the correct spelling of Thai Words, which you can prove while the ride.
I gave the Tour 5Stars because: I find the route creative and diversity. The Tourguide is professional. Really good organised and time runs by so fast, because i enjoyed it.

Practically, you have two options. Option 1: you spend 100 hours researching the paths where google maps don't work, get through the frustration of finding your way, bargain with boat drivers, get through the menu that's all in Thai, and take pictures while trying not to drop your phone or fall off the path. Oh, and remember to pack extra face masks, and hand sanitizer, and rain coats just in case. Option 2: you book this tour and spend amazing time following an amazing tour guide who I suspect is a magician. She can lead the tour, answer your questions, take pictures, and notice the fascinating tiny details (can you spot dragon fruit flowers in the jungle? Well, she can) with incredible friendly attitude. And she was incredibly patient with me taking pictures of practically every stray cat along the way.

A very humbling experience visiting the most amazing sites in Bangkok

This was an amazing experience, and a vision of real Asia...
I was careful at first when booking as some negative comments were made on the poor and rugged aspects of the sites we would visit but I understand that some visitors were expecting a sugar coated view of Bangkok... don't expect this from Michael, he will take you to the most unusual beaten tracks and show you what real life is in Bangkok, after all this is called realasia.net and what else could you expect.
Following my first tour, I went for the other ones and visited other amazing places that i would have never seen on my own.
Safety? Yes when crossing a busy road, you must be attentive and listen to the guide. I am told they never a single accident in many years of touring.
Definitely a must if you visit Bangkok for the first time, or even if you have lived here for years because you will discover what nobody can show you unless you take one of these bike tours...

2nd time doing this bike tour and we weren't disappointed

My husband and I first did this bike tour 10 years ago and loved it, we recently returned to Bangkok with friends who had never been before and we told them we had to do the bike tour! They weren't disappointed and neither were we. Michael who runs the place was the same as we remembered!!! The tour was slightly different to the previous one so we still saw things we hadn't seen before. It really is a great way to see the city in a totally different light and is great fun. Do the morning one before it gets too hot!

Michiel showed us a different side of Bangkok. He first took us through many hidden alley ways where we got to see how many Thai people actually live. Then across the river by boat to a beautiful nature reserve. It was a very nice afternoon. Michiel was very friendly and informative. Just don’t let him tempt you to play the bottle cap game ;)

We had an absolutely wonderful bike trip of ‘hidden Bangkok’ and saw sights we would never have seen otherwise. Our guide was knowledgeable, warm and very lovely. The tour was gently paced but we covered a lot of ground. We would thoroughly recommend this tour for anyone who would like to have a lovely gentle day of cycling and see another side of Bangkok!

Absolutely amazing. I was late due to the taxi taking me to the wrong place. Despite this the guide waited for me and held the tour for only me! It was really interesting and it took me to parts of Bangkok which i never would've gone myself.
